0 Hour Monday 8/11 & DCI Watch Party Time Correction

Dear CTMB Students & Parents,
Due to the Colossal Cave road closure on Monday, August 11, 2025, 0 hour at Cienega High School will look a little different. I am attaching the communication sent out by Cienega High School administration. We will follow this guidance. All road closure-related absences and tardies will be excused for 0 Hour on 8/11/2025. We will still have 0 hour and all students who are able to should attend as usual. Students who are unable to attend will receive an additional assignment to submit to recover the missed rehearsal time.
Monday Evening Rehearsal (5:30-6 pm) will operate per usual. All students are required to attend evening rehearsal and families should make plans to avoid Colossal Cave Rd if necessary to attend.

DCI Watch Party Time Correction:

I need to apologize. I was reading the DCI Finals schedule in Eastern Standard Time. The schedule for Saturday’s Watch Party is as follows:
3:00 pm- band room opens
3:30 pm- DCI Finals starts
7:30 pm- approximate time for Finals Awards.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but hopefully this makes the watch party more convenient since the the live stream won’t be going as late.
