Given that marching band is a course that all of our students are enrolled in, students should be mindful that their grade will be directly impacted by their attendance record. All rehearsals and performances, both curricular and extracurricular are mandatory. However, in the case of a required absence, students may be excused from an event at the discretion of the director. Examples of excused absences include but are not limited to illness, death of family member, and curricular-academic engagements. For all attendance conflicts, please notify Mr. Knox via email at knoxgr@vailschooldistrict.org.
