Director’s Update: Aug. 26-31, 2024

First, I have to start this week's update  by offering a sincere THANK YOU to all of the parents, siblings, and friends of the band that came out this past Saturday for our props build day! All 20 cage pieces were built, painted, and completed before rehearsal was over for the day. I cannot thank you all enough for making this happen so quickly for the band!

Here's the schedule for the week:

Monday (0 hr)- review Scene 2 (pg. 19-21)

Monday (6-9)- Cont. scene 2 drill, run scene 1.

Tuesday (0 hr)- Review drill for scene 2, add new pages.

Wednesday (0 hr)- run scene 1, add drill to scene 2

Thursday (0 hr)- inside: stand tunes check & clean scene 2 music

Thursday (4-6 pm)- Sectionals

Percentage Night at Dos Hermanos after sectionals!

Friday- Home game vs. Desert Vista!

• 5:30 call time
• Traditional uniforms (show shirt, shorts, tall black socks required)

Saturday- no events; rest, relax, & retain!
