Director’s Update: Championship Week Itinerary

Marching Band Families: We made it! The final week of the season is finally here! Here a look at our final weekly rehearsal schedule for the 2025 season, as well as some information about football playoffs.

Booster Meeting: Monday, Nov. 3, 5:30 pm in the choir room

Weekly Rehearsal Schedule:

Monday- 0 hour (ending at 8:15 am); 5:30-9:00 pm rehearsal (Goal-Line Night)

• We’d like to invite you to spend the last part of rehearsal with us. Our last Monday night rehearsal is called “Goal-Line Night and we close our season with a very special tradition. I hope you’ll join us for the last rehearsal run of the season and the Goal-Line Ceremony.

Tuesday- 0 hour rehearsal; open band room until 5 pm

Wednesday- 0 hour (inside rehearsal)

Thursday- 0 hour; final sectional/music rehearsal (4-6 pm)

Friday- no scheduled events; football playoff round 1 in Phoenix

Saturday- CHAMPS DAY! See the itinerary for the day below.

• NOTE: This schedule is slightly different than normal show day schedules because of the distance we have to travel for this show. Important changes: later call time than normal & no mid-day break off campus.
• FOOD PROVIDED BY BOOSTERS ON SATURDAY: Lunch (at school before dismissal), snack bag (each student receives one when getting on the bus to leave), dinner (after awards).

Football Play-offs: We evaluate whether the band attends play-off games on a week-by-week basis. If the team continues to win, we feel it is in the band’s best interest, and the buses are available/the distance is not too far: we try to attend. For this week’s game @ Sunnyslope HS we will not travel due to our own State Championship competition the next day. If we attend future play-off games, we go as a pep band and students may sign up to attend. We do not perform our half-time show or wear uniforms.
