Director’s Update: July 21-25, 2025
Welcome to Week 1 of the 2025 Marching Band Season! The purpose of these weekly updates are to provide a detailed look at the weekly class/rehearsal schedules, important information as the season begins, and answer frequently asked questions. The Band Booster executive board also provides weekly updates as needed. Their updates will pertain to parent volunteer opportunities, booster donations/needs, and upcoming events that they plan.
Welcome to the Cienega Instrumental Booster Organization!
As a parent/guardian/someone with vested interest in a Cienega Band or Orchestra member, YOU ARE A BOOSTER! Booster meetings happen monthly and all are encouraged to attend. While the executive board (voted in annually by the members) is responsible for much of the planning, organizing, and voting, it is important to point out that what we do (especially in marching band) takes a village and we rely heavily on the parent/booster volunteers to make the kids’ year a success. Please accept this personal invitation from the Directors to join and participate in, to the extent you are able, the Cienega Instrumental Booster Organization 2025-26.
Due This Week:
- All classes: Syllabus acknowledgement form (Schoology)
- Marching Band: Medical/Emergency Contact Form (absolute deadline of Thursday, July 24; all students without proper paperwork will be dropped from the class at this point)
