Director’s Update: Oct. 7-11, 2024

Welcome to Bandtober! I hope you all had a restful Fall Break and are recharged and ready to take on the rest of the semester.

For those of you that are just joining us this year, we call this Bandtober because, as you'll soon find out, this is the height of the marching band season and when things really kick off for the rest of the program too! Here's a look at what's to come:

Monday:

• 0 hour rehearsal
• 6-9 pm rehearsal
• Booster/Parent meeting 5:30 pm in the choir room
  • If you are able to attend, please consider coming to be part of our booster meetings. It is a lot easier to plan for the upcoming events and to get ideas for the future with more voices in the room!

Tuesday

• 0 hour rehearsal
• open band room (scene 3 music focus) until 5 PM

Wednesday

• 0 hour rehearsal

Thursday

• 0 hour rehearsal
• Sectionals 4-6 PM

Friday

• Away game @ Desert View HS
  • current plan: Stands only, no show. Will update if there is a change

Next Week's Key Events:

• Fall Concert: Tuesday, Oct. 15
  • Symphonic, Concert, Jazz, & Orchestra
  • Call Time will be outlined by your child's director for their specific ensemble
• Pinnacle Show (AzMBA): Saturday, Oct. 19
  • Itinerary will be distributed during 0 hour this Wednesday.
