Director’s Update: October 27-Nov. 1, 2025
CONGRATULATIONS to The Cienega Band on winning the first ever AzMBA Southern Region Championship! I hope your child came home as excited about their performance as I was to watch them from the sideline. I cannot express how proud I am of our students for what they have accomplished so far this season. To the parents that have volunteered on show days, rehearsals, and Friday night games. It really does take a village to get to where this program is and that village is (sometimes literally) built by parents and our booster organization. I also want to thank everyone that stayed so late on last Friday Night to celebrate our seniors in their last home show. It was great to see the stands so full at 10:30 pm for our show! Now let’s finish this season strong!
Knott’s Berry Farm Trip
If your student is eligible to attend and plans to go, please register them through Music Travel Consultants as soon as possible. We need to start making plans for the performance aspect and chaperone selection, but we need a student-count first. Marching Band Agenda for the Week:
Monday- 0 hour; 5:30-9:00 pm rehearsal
- Show designer and Program Coordinator: Jim Reed will be with us from Tennessee for the week starting on Monday night!
Tuesday- 0 hour; open band room
Wednesday- 0 hour (music rehearsal only)
Thursday- 0 hour; Music rehearsal: 4-6 pm (full band w/ Jim)
Friday- No scheduled events!
Saturday- U OF A BAND DAY!!!
