Director’s Update: Sept. 14-19, 2026
This Edition is Marching Band Only!
Weekly Agenda:
Monday 0- Visual rehearsal on field (goal: Finish part 2 drill, w/ music)
- No Monday Night Rehearsal; go to the choir concert
Tuesday 0- Visual on field
Tuesday (6:00-9:00 pm)- PM rehearsal; same as normal Monday rehearsals
- Parents helping with pit equipment/props at Casa Grande this weekend: Please attend rehearsal from 8:30-9:00 to practice fielding/exiting with the band.
Wednesday 0- Inside music rehearsal
Thursday 0- Visual on field (reinforce visual for part 2)
Thursday (4:00-6:00 pm)- sectionals; show uniform fitting
- more details to come on this; will look different than normal Thursdays because of the half-day, but will keep schedule the same until we have confirmed another plan. Getting uniforms/shakos fit is essential for Saturday’s show though.
Friday- No scheduled events
Saturday- Show Day 1- Casa Grande eval+ show! See itinerary below:
Show Day Reminders: Students must attend morning rehearsal and travel to show sites with the band. Students may be checked out after the show only from the CHS buses and only by a legal parent/guardian. We do not release students prior to the post-awards meeting or from stadium bleachers/campuses for student safety.

Next Home Football Game: Friday, October 2, 2026
- Students in town on the day of the show are expected to attend.
- Students out-of-town on pre-planned fall break vacations are excused
- Especially because we are getting so few football game performances this season, it is important that students attend if possible.
- There will be no fall break rehearsals leading up to the game day. We will communicate other details when we know them for certain.
