Director’s Update: Sept. 2-7, 2024

After a successful first half-time performance, it is now time to turn our energy and efforts towards the first competition of the season in Las Cruces, NM! As we prepare for competition, here is what this week of rehearsal looks like:

Tuesday- 0 hour outside reviewing scene 2 drill

• Open Band Room 3:45-5:00 pm. Optional but all students are encouraged to take advantage of this since we lost Monday night rehearsal this week.

Wednesday- 0 hour outside; add scene 2 drill

Thursday- 0 hour outside; add end of scene 2 drill

• Thursday afternoon (4-6 pm) potentially an additional outside rehearsal, pending field availability. If not available, sectionals as normal.

Friday- no events scheduled. Go home and rest.

Saturday- Last Saturday camp! 8:30-2:00.

• Plan to be outside the whole day in preparation for BOA afternoon performance
• Bring a lunch, water, and sunscreen

• BOA itinerary will be posted and sent home Tuesday or Wednesday of this week
• We're almost one week into our program fundraiser through Victory Fundraising. These fundraisers are crucial to fully funding several projects and needs for all of our ensembles. Please encourage people within your circles to support our ensembles.
