Middle School Night was a blast! So many students! Thank you for all your help.

Booster Meeting Recap – Meeting Minutes & Agendas Link

• Bigger band this year, yay! This means our competition call time will be later in the day compared to last year.
• Our percussion consultant met with the band and will meet a few more times this year.
• If you want to help or be a bigger part of the booster program, reach out. Signups fill up quick.
• Jazz band has already been invited to a hand full of events.
• There will be a virtual meeting for parents regarding the Knott’s Berry Farm trip for concert ensembles.
• Special treat – concert in Galaxy theater. Benefit concert. Details to come.
• New sign in the stand for the marching band section.
• Homecoming next week 9/19 – Alumni are invited to play in the stands with the band.
• WhatsApp community (link to WhatsApp community) will have 2 additional chat groups for quicker communication – Friday nights & Competition.
• Next meeting 10/6 at 5:30 pm in choir room.

This week’s football game is an away game and the band will be playing in the stands.

• Competition signups are filling up quickly (THANK YOU) so those that opted for the volunteer waiver and need more hours can email chsvvb@gmail.com.
• This coming week is homecoming (9/19). There are 3 home games left. Don’t miss the chance to do snow cones!

REMINDER on next week practice – Calendar link

• Regular Monday 6 pm – 9 pm practice is on Tuesday 6 pm – 9 pm. There is a choir concert on Monday.
