Hey Boosters! Meeting recap.
Thank you for joining our October Band Booster meeting! Here’s a quick recap of what’s coming up:
🎺 Concert – Next Tuesday 10/14
- All four ensembles will perform with an intermission.
- Concessions will run before and during intermission — please donate candy bars, snacks, or small drinks.
- Sales close after intermission to reduce noise during recordings.
🍦 Freddy’s Fundraiser – Same Night (5–9 PM)
Grab dinner before or ice cream after the concert and mention the band program — proceeds go straight to supporting our students!
🎡 Upcoming Shows
- This Saturday (Waldo Grove): “Flip show” format – our band performs 8:15 in the evening. Tickets can be purchased here. Let’s show them the boosters behind the program!
- Flowing Wells (Oct 19): Late show; we may plan a group dinner/snack.
- U of A Show: Details coming soon.
🎨 Guard & Equipment Updates
- All new guard uniforms and flags have arrived!
- Stage staining workday: Completed this morning. Thank you all who helped!
- Trailer and truck are working great; spare tire and wiring to be checked.
🎁 Senior Night Preparations
We’re making leis, framed photos, and candy shakos for our seniors. Please help by collecting senior photos or volunteering to help assemble decorations.
💵 Finances & Fundraising
- Our last fundraiser doubled expectations — thank you!
- Keep promoting tax credit donations at concerts and home games — these directly fund new uniforms.
☕ Concessions / Hot Chocolate Stand
We’re switching from snow cones to hot chocolate and ramen for cooler nights. Volunteers are still needed — sign-up links can be found here.
