October 18th Updates
Schedule Overview per Mr. Knox
Mon., 10/18: Symphonic Band/Orchestra Concert - 7:00pm (musician call time: 5pm; doors open: 6:40pm)
- There will be no ticketing process or audience capacity limit like last year. However, if you would like to watch from home, Bobcat TV will be livestreaming the concert on their YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/BobcatTV)
- This also means there will not be marching band rehearsal on Mon., 10/18
Thur., 10/21: Marching Band Rehearsal - 4-5:30pm
Fri., 10/22: ABODA Fall Orchestra Festival at Tucson HS - 9:30 am (Performance Time)
- Student call time is 6:45am and will arrive back on campus by the middle/end of 5th period.
- Lunch provided
Fri., 10/22: Home Football vs. Nogales HS (Homecoming) - 7:00 pm
- 5:00pm call; 30 minutes earlier than normal call for group photo (taking place at 5:30pm)
- Detailed itinerary distributed to students in class
Sat., 10/23: AzMBA Marching Band Competition at Ironwood Ridge HS - 8:37pm (Performance Time)
- Similar timeline as Walden Grove (AM rehearsal; 4pm call for evening show)

- Per the classroom syllabus, all marching band students are required to be in attendance. Yes, this means missing the homecoming dance.
Finally, as a reminder: students are responsible for communicating information received in class to their households, as this is the most up-to-date information given. Familes can also find news, calendars, forms, and scheduling updates on our social media pages, Schoology, and website (https://cienegaimp.com/). Taking a moment to thank the many many volunteers that put in the time to make the season happen. We are just getting started and already the offers of help are coming in.
If you would like to help, please make sure to fill in the signup forms. Mrs. Bell is juggling a lot of volunteers and if she doesn't have your name signed up officially it can be a ton of stress making sure we have enough people to get everything handled. It really helps coordinators know who is coming. Who to expect and if everything is covered. Or Mrs. Bell starts calling anyone she knows to help the program! We appreciate you, Mrs. Bell.
