Concerning videos & recordings of performances:
As we get close to the big finale on our marching band season, I wanted to take a moment to ask everyone to please refrain from posting public videos of the band's performances on social media. This includes, but is not limited to: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok. Sharing recordings privately with family and friends is fine, but we don't want our show posted publicly until after the season is over in two weeks. Furthermore, posting competition recordings is a violation of AzMBA's copyright and intellectual property rights agreement.
It's a busy week ahead, band family! Let's get to it:
Monday- 0 hour; 6-9 pm rehearsal. Student-led Truck or Treat prior to evening rehearsal.
Note: If you choose to wear a costume to rehearsal this day, it cannot obstruct your ability to play your instrument or move on the field. Please do not wear anything you cannot march in.
Tuesday- 0 hour; no after-school activities. Have fun!
Wednesday- 0 hour music rehearsal
Thursday- 0 hour rehearsal; 4-6 pm sectionals.
Friday- Away game @ Marana (pending transportation availability). Details to come in class
Saturday- SHOW DAY! Sabino High School
8:30 - 11:15- morning rehearsal
2:30- Band Room Re-Opens
3:30- CALL TIME; uniforms, trailer, bus
5:00- Depart for Sabino
7:45- Show Time! Tales of the Djinn!
Note: We will return to bus to reload trailer after show, but changing out of uniforms, snack, concessions, etc. will depend on time. We are one of the last bands to perform and will be short on time before awards.
10:15- tentative return to CHS time
