Required Performance/Final Exam for all Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band Winds, and Orchestra (non-seniors)
After-School Rehearsal: Wed., May 18 – 4:00-5:30pm at Cienega High School
Graduation Ceremony: Sat., May 21 – 7:00pm
Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium
Performers will be seated in the grassy area between the first base dugout and infield. The stage will be placed in the middle of the infield, on the pitcher’s mound. Graduates will be seated along the front edge of the outfield.
Graduation: Sat., May 21 at 7:00 pm
Attire: All Black (formal concert attire); no colored accessories
Repertoire: Pomp and Circumstance
Food will be provided between sound check and the beginning of the ceremony, however, students are encouraged to bring their own snacks and water.
- Call Time: 2:30pm (at Cienega High School)
- Load: 2:30-3:00pm
- Depart: 3:00pm
- Arrival/Unload: 3:30pm
- Warmup/Sound Check downbeat: 4:00pm
- Dinner/Pizza served: 5:00pm
- Ceremony begins: 7:00pm
- Estimated end time: 8:15pm
- Arrival back at Cienega: approx. 9:00pm
Student performers are permitted to travel to and/or from the performance venue separately. All separate travel arrangements will need to be made prior to the day of the event, and parents/guardians will need to sign a completed Alternate Transportation Form (availabile under the “For Students” tab).
