We know new parents have questions and returning parents have answers or helpful tips. Meet us in the stands and have the best seats to watch the Copper Thunder Marching band practice! 

Volunteer Sign up for August 20th Copper Navy Game

We need your support with a few volunteer hours at games. Help us setup, help with uniforms, help with icees. As one of the largest volunteer hour groups on Cienega campus, we show how important our musicians are in the CIMP. It never could be pulled off with just a few volunteers. We appreciate everyone who gives of their time to help.

Volunteer Application

Want to travel with the musicians? Want to volunteer with the Instrumental Music Program? For the safety of our students and school, every year the Vail School District requires a volunteer application. We ask that you fill in the application now to help us be prepared for volunteer needs. Boosters must check every volunteer application before moving forward with planning. Thank you for knocking this out.

A side note for new parents: This looks like a job application. You can login or you can start a new application. You can select “volunteer”. The affidavit part is required for volunteering with the program per Vail School District. Thank you.

Last few forms – please turn in

All instrumental music programs need to fill in the forms under “join the program” on the website. It is important to have forms on hand for any competition or performances any band will have throughout the year. Please turn them in to Mr. Knox. It is especially critical for Marching Band to already have theirs in because of show shirts ordering that happens today on the 9th. However, to travel, all Instrumental Music Programs need the forms completed. Thank you.
